Biography:
Michele Dell'Era is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at EDC Paris Business School. Prior to joining EDC Paris, he worked at the European Business School, the National Bank of Slovakia, and Bocconi University. He also held visiting positions at the École Normale Supérieure Paris and USI Lugano. He obtained a PhD in Economics from HEC Lausanne.
His research primarily focuses on entrepreneurship, with an emphasis on economic decision-making. His work explores how behavioral biases, expert advice, and technological advancements influence the decisions of entrepreneurs and investors, and how these decisions impact businesses and markets.
The results of his research contribute to a deeper understanding of business creation, financing, and performance, and more broadly, of market outcomes. His work is published in International Economic Review, The Scandinavian Journal of Economics, Economics Letters, and Economics Bulletin.
He teaches a variety of courses at the bachelor, master, and MBA levels, including entrepreneurial finance, business development, innovation management, and microeconomics.
