Ambitions + competition: everything you need to know

Ambitions + competition at EDC Paris Business School

Dedicated to students wishing to enter a top management school, the Ambitions + competition is open to candidates with a Bac+2 or Bac+3. Created in 2014, the Ambitions + Competition has the specificity of offering staggered sessions, which is why it's particularly important to know the dates of the written and oral tests.

Ambitions + Competition calendar

The Ambitions + competition gives access to 30 programs spread across 4 leading business schools. In 2020, more than a thousand candidates tried their luck for nearly 400 work-study places. Winners will be able to choose between Grande École Program of EDC Paris Business School.

The dates of the Ambitions + Competition are numerous, with a total of 7 sessions taking place between January and September 2021:

• January 26, 27 and 28, 2022: first session 
• March 8, 9 and 10, 2022: second session 
• April 6, 7 and 8, 2022: third session 
• May 20, 23 and 24, 2022: fourth session 
• June 10, 13 and 14, 2022: fifth session J
• uly 6, 7 and 8, 2022: sixth session 
• September 31, 1 and 2, 2022: seventh and final session

Please note that the deadline for registration for the first session this year is January 23.

Ambitions + Competition tests

For each session, the written tests take place on the first day and the oral tests on the following two days, with results at 3pm two weeks later.

Each test lasts one hour, and will be 100% MCQ with no negative points.

Aptitude Test (4 themes)

It consists of 4 themes:

Calculation, reasoning, expression and logic skills.

English test (3 themes)

Your preparation for the Ambitions + competitive entrance exam should include English, which lasts one hour. It includes a 10-question document analysis MCQ, a 10-question audio analysis and a test of grammar, written expression and vocabulary (20 questions for admission in 3rd year / 30 questions for admission in 4th year).

The oral test

Following the written tests common to all schools, you will be invited to oral tests at the schools of your choice.

These tests are specific to each school, and are designed to better understand your profile, motivations and expectations, as well as how your project matches the school's values.

These orals will be an opportunity for you to reveal your personality, motivation and potential.
